2017 Heat Illness Prevention Resources

The following is based on recent releases from VOSHA and OSHA:

OSHA’s Office of Communications is preparing to soon launch the annual Heat Illness Prevention Campaign which will include an updated Heat Illness Prevention webpage and social media efforts using #WaterRestShade.  Once again, OOC will be looking for examples of steps that employers are taking to keep workers safe in the heat. The stories can be featured in QuickTakes and on Twitter, and some employers may be invited to participate in a press call. Please contact Nancy Cleeland if you have any stories, or if you have any suggestions for new resources to help you get the word out this summer.
