Action Alert | Members Strongly Urged to Contact Us Regarding Corporate Tax Rule Changes

The House Ways and Means Committee is going to review changes to the statutory rules governing corporate tax apportionment and calculation, as well as possibly other tax issues impacting businesses.  Legislation is expected to be developed and moved forward, although it is unclear at this time what might move this year or next year.

There is potential for negative changes to be included, but there is also an opportunity to push for positive changes that would benefit manufacturers, including moving toward using single sales factor apportionment, a long-standing priority for AIV.  Members are very strongly urged to have their managers responsible for tax issues contact us at info@aivt.org so that we can provide timely updates on developments but also to provide us with input on what changes should be opposed or supported.
