The Week Ahead in Committees | Week of January 13

Labor and Workplace.  The House Commerce Committee will review H.1, addressing non-compete agreements, Thursday and Friday.  The Senate Economic Development, Housing, and General Affairs Committee will discuss S.23, increasing the minimum wage, Tuesday.  The Senate Judiciary Committee will discuss S.54, addressing marijuana regulation, Wednesday.

Environment.  The House Energy and Technology Committee will discuss climate related issues Tuesday and Wednesday, possibly through the week.  The House Natural Resources and Energy Committee will discuss Act 250 reform Tuesday and PFAS testing and regulation Thursday.  The Senate Transportation Committee will discuss the Transportation and Climate Initiative Wednesday.

Energy.  The Senate Finance Committee will discuss developments related to Act 62, addressing expansion of energy efficiency programs to heating fuels, Wednesday and Thursday.

Taxes and Fees.  The House Ways and Means Committee will discuss corporate tax issues Tuesday.
