The Week Ahead in Committees | For the Week of January 20

Labor and Workplace.  The House Commerce and Economic Development Committee will discuss H.1, addressing non-compete agreements, Tuesday and Thursday.

Environmental Regulation.  The House Energy and Technology Committee will discuss H.688, imposing mandatory greenhouse gas reduction goals and enabling court-directed climate regulations, through the week.  The House Natural Resources and Energy Committee will discuss Act 250 reform through the week.

Energy.  The Senate Natural Resources and Energy Committee will discuss legislation to divert Energy Efficiency Charge revenues to electric vehicle infrastructure through the week.

Taxes and Fees.  The House Ways and Means Committee will discuss this year’s Miscellaneous Tax Bill Tuesday.  Tax incremental financing will be discussed by the House Ways and Means Committee Wednesday, and Senate Finance Committee will discuss the issue Thursday.
