Energy. The Senate Finance Committee will discuss S.267, increasing renewable energy mandates, Tuesday, and S.190, extending above market pricing for certain biomass electric generation, Wednesday. The Committee will also discuss S.337, diverting Energy Efficiency Charge revenue toward thermal and transportation projects, Tuesday. The Senate Natural Resources and Energy Committee will discuss renewable energy issues Tuesday, and might receive S.267 later in the week.
Product Regulation. The Senate Health and Welfare Committee will discuss S.295, banning or otherwise regulating PFAS, Bisphenols, and Phthalates in certain products, Friday. The Senate Natural Resources and Energy Committee will discuss S.227, banning certain personal care product packaging in establishments, Wednesday, and the witness list suggests that additional Extended Producer Responsibility issues might be incorporated in the bill.
Economic Development. The House Commerce and Economic Development Committee will discuss H.640, requiring disclosure of information for VEGI incentives, Wednesday, and H.641, creating new financial assistance for companies seeking to retain employment, Wednesday and Thursday.
Labor and Workplace. The House Commerce and Economic Development Committee will discuss H.631, making a number of changes to workers’ compensation, Friday.
Environment. The House Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife Committee will discuss the status of H.926, reforming Act 250, Tuesday.
Taxes and Fees. The Ways and Means Committee will discuss corporate income tax reform Thursday.
