The Week Ahead in Committees | Week of August 31

Budget.  The House and Senate Appropriations committees will continue work on the budget for the remainder of FY2021 through the week.

Economic Development.  The House Commerce Committee will continue work on COVID relief programs and legislation through the week, and will discuss Department of Labor issues Tuesday and Friday.  The Senate Economic Development, Housing, and General Affairs Committee will discuss relief issues Tuesday and Thursday.

Labor and Workforce.  The House Human Services Committee will discuss Child Care Hubs Thursday.

Taxes and Fees.  The House Ways and Means Committee will discuss tax and spending issues in the context of economic downturns Thursday.

Environmental Regulation.  The Senate Finance Committee will discuss H.926, currently addressing Act 250 changes, Thursday.
