This Week in Committees

Economic Development.  The House Commerce and Economic Development Committee will hear from Agency of Commerce and Community Development leaders on legislative priorities Wednesday, and will hear from the Department of Labor, including updates on unemployment insurance, Thursday.

Labor Issues.  The Senate Economic Development, Housing, and Military Affairs Committee will discuss workers’ compensation and unemployment insurance eligibility issues Tuesday and Wednesday, and economic recovery issues Thursday.

Environmental Regulation.  The House Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife Committee will hear from ANR leaders on key programs and activities Thursday.

Transportation.  The House Transportation Committee will hear from the Agency of Transportation on rail and other transportation issues Thursday.

Taxes and Fees.  The House Ways and Means Committee will take initial testimony from the Tax Department on a new Miscellaneous Tax Bill Wednesday.
