Environmental Regulation. The House Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife Committee will discuss H.108, addressing standards for Clean Water Act Section 401 certifications, Thursday.
Labor and Workplace Issues. The House Commerce and Economic Development Committee will discuss H.29, addressing notification of prospective employees of ineligibility for unemployment insurance benefits, Friday, and will also have Friday a joint discussion with the House Government Operations Committee about UI administration issues. The House Human Services Committee will discuss the Governor’s child care proposals Friday. The Senate Economic Development, Housing, and General Affairs Committee will review the administration of UI and calculation of taxes based on experience Tuesday, and will discuss S.10, extending COVID-19 related UI provisions enacted last year Thursday and Friday.
Product Regulation. The House Agriculture and Forestry Committee will discuss H.58, addressing right to repair for agricultural equipment, Wednesday. The House Human Services Committee will hear an introduction to H.26, addressing PFAS and other chemicals in certain products, and H.27, addressing labeling for PFAS in certain products, Wednesday. The House Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife Committee will hear an introducing of H.115, addressing extended producer responsibility for household products containing hazardous substances, Thursday. The Senate Health and Welfare Committee will hear an introduction of S.20, addressing PFAS and other chemicals in certain products, Wednesday.
