This Week in Committees

Economic Development.  The House Commerce and Economic Development Committee will discuss the general state of manufacturing in Vermont Tuesday (AIV will testify), and will discuss additional COVID-19 related funding for businesses through the week.  The House Ways and Means Committee will discuss taxation of inputs to manufacturing Thursday.

Energy.  The Senate Finance Committee will discuss S.1, addressing Vermont’s renewable energy mandates, Thursday.

Environmental Regulation.  The House Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife Committee will discuss H.108, addressing standards for issuing a Clean Water Act Section 401 certification Tuesday, and PFAS in solid waste Friday.

Labor and Workplace Issues. The Senate Economic Development, Housing, and General Affairs Committee will discuss the health of the UI Trust Fund and related issues Tuesday, and S.10, addressing extension of COVID-19 related UI provisions, Wednesday.

Taxes and Fees.  The House Ways and Means Committee will discuss taxation of inputs to manufacturing Thursday.

Transportation.  The Senate Transportation Committee will discuss truck permitting issues Wednesday.
