Economic Development. The House Commerce and Economic Development Committee will discuss H.129, addressing project-based tax increment financing districts, Wednesday, and other economic development proposals Thursday and Friday. The Senate Economic Development, Housing, and General Affairs Committee will discuss a similar TIF bill, S.33, Thursday.
Environmental Regulation. The House Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife Committee will discuss H.108, addressing Clean Water Act Section 401 certifications, Tuesday, and H.175, addressing beverage container redemption and potentially other extended producer responsibility issues, Wednesday. The Senate Health and Welfare Committee will discuss S.20, addressing PFAS and other chemicals in an number of products, Thursday.
Labor and Workplace Issues. The Senate Economic Development, Housing, and General Affairs Committee will discuss S.10, addressing extension of certain COVID-19 related UI provisions, as well as potential deferral of increased UI taxes and increases in UI benefits, Wednesday (AIV will testify).
