Federal Vaccine and Testing Requirements Announced; Survey for Covered and Other Employers in Vermont

Yesterday’s announcement that the federal government will be implementing vaccination and testing requirements for companies with 100 or more employees, among other measures, not only poses imminent compliance and related issues for covered employers but also highlights issues and questions for all employers regarding vaccination, masking, and other COVID policies.

We are currently awaiting next steps from OSHA, including an expected Emergency Temporary Standard outlining new requirements.  You can review related announcements by clicking here, OSHA information as available by clicking here, and AIV will be providing additional updates and links as available and warranted.

In the meantime, however, AIV is actively working to arrange for interactive meetings with authorities and experts for employers covered by the announced requirements as well as all employers generally, and to provide additional guidance and resources.

To help us keep you updated and provide you with information, resources, and opportunities for engagement on these matters, we have posted a new survey that we hope you will take a moment to complete.

The survey is confidential, but it will be used by us to help identify and reach out to employers covered by specific requirements, better understand current employer policies and help share best practices, and to collect and respond to employer questions and suggestions about federal and state actions.

So we very much hope that you will complete the brief survey linked below.  If you have any questions or suggestions about or apart from this survey, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at info@aivt.org.

Thank you!
